From Farm to Table

We have a partnership with Just Food, the New York State Department of Health, and United Way. These organizations help in provide healthy food choices for our clients.

Hundreds of pounds of fresh vegetables are distributed each week to participants. As part of this initiative, community chefs host cooking demonstrations throughout the season using each week’s vegetables which ‘veggie educators’ are available at each distribution. We also visit our local farms, and our farmers visit us each year.
