This year The Rotary Club of Verrazano sponsored the Operation Christmas Smiles event. Bill Sobolow, the president of The Rotary Club Presented a check for the cost of $7,000.00 to run this event for over 800 children. the expense to conduct such an event is very costly and our organization was going to cancel the event due to lack of funding. The Rotary Club told us they don't want to disappoint the children and offered to sponsor the cost of the event along with donating toys. Thank you Rotary club of Verrazano for saving this event so the children can have an amazing time.
