These students that attend The Bay Ridge Catholic Academy School from Grade 6B after reading the book "Pay it forward" was inspirited to set up a lemonade stand and raise money for neighbors in need. After raising $ 285.00 they, Daniel McKenna, Michael LaFerlita, Jack Gallagher and Casey Dounes, visited Reaching-Out Community Services and presented the funds for the food pantry.
It's so encouraging to see our youth have a heart and concern for those who struggle with food insecurity and do something about.
